NFC Tag embedded in your hand?!?! Just a little creepy to me!

So there's a new start up raising money on IndieGoGo.com (looks like they've already reached their goal) to create NFC chips to be embedded in YOU!  That's right, they don't just see these chips as something to embed in animals, but as something to be embedded in the human hand as well and apparently they've already tested on a few willing people.

While this might bring up images of end times and the anti-Christ for many people, to me it just seems plain ridiculous.  Then again, I'm sure many of the electronics we have, do, and use regularly seem equally as ridiculous to my parents.  One thing is for sure - as much as I hate even getting my blood taken, there's no chance that I'll be getting a foreign object stuck under my skin...ever!
